Web standards

As far as possible this site has been developed in accordance with the following New Zealand Government web standards:

• Web Accessibility Standard 1.1

• Web Usability Standard 1.3

This website should display correctly in all common browsers, operating systems and page resolutions; on a desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone; and for people without fast internet connections.

Adjusting the text size

This site has been designed to display correctly when the text size is increased. To change the text size, hold down Control (PC) or Command (Apple) and tap the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key.

Plain language

We aim to use plain language on this site. Plain language is appropriate to the intended audience, and clear, concise, and well organised.

The Plain Language Act 2022 sets out some requirements for using plain language in our documents.
